I could not resist hiring The Russ Davis Band for our House Party, and they did not disappoint! My husband and I have seen Russ perform in many different settings, both intimate and on the large stage. His skillful band has a knack for playing off of each other that can really capture the crowd’s attention, and bring everyone along for a fun night.

It would be hard to find a more versatile band. They play a long and distinguished list of hits, across many genres and periods. After seeing Russ play Solo, and then seeing how the Band can jam, when it was time to throw our own party we just had to have Russ and his band!

My country club in Rye has enjoyed The Russ Davis Band for numerous events including Featured Concerts, Formal Dinners, relaxing Poolside at the Tikki Bar, and more. They never fail to make it incredible!

I am an avid concert goer and have seen many big names over the years, but none impress more The Russ Davis Band.

​

I discovered Russ by accident one night when I was out walking with friends, and we could hear a fantastic sound of live music! Songs we loved were being expertly sung and played, and we had no idea what was happening, but it sounded like an amazing concert. So we walked and followed the sound, until we literally ended up in the midst of a huge summer party with tiki torches, barbeque, and people

dancing and cheering. And there was Russ and his Band, on a raised porch with spotlights, absolutely killing it and thrilling the crowd.

My friends and I introduced ourselves to Russ when he took a break, and since then I’ve had him for a big shindig at my house, and we continue to get out to see Russ as often as we can, all over New York and CT, and he never fails to amaze and inspire.

For nearly three decades I have watched the evolution of Russ Davis as the ultimate Bandleader, Front Man, and Soloist.

​

I first had the pleasure of seeing Russ when he travelled north to make a special guest appearance at one of the concert venues in my hometown of Woodstock. That night he was not with his own band, Russ came to sit in with a very popular band in this area, made up of Students he was Mentoring. Two things became immediately clear: First, Russ mentors some incredible Pro Musicians, and helps them grow and rise to another level, and second, from the first note Russ played, it was clear why he was the Mentor!

His rich powerful voice and inspired soulful guitar playing can transform any situation into an unforgettable musical experience. He not only reads his audience, he bonds with them energetically in a joyful musical connection.

​

After that initial glimpse of what Russ can do, I was inspired to make the trek down many times over the years to Manhattan and Westchester, Jersey and Connecticut, to see Russ perform at many very different types of gigs, Town Concerts, huge Benefit Galas, House Parties, Night Clubs, and Corporate Events.

​

What’s equally as amazing as his stage presence is the wealth of experience Russ brings to his craft as a Producer, Educator, Composer, Arranger, and Multi-Instrumentalist! Russ is not only stunning as a Performer, he also writes Jingles, Produces other Artist’s Albums, coached a young novice to a Leading Role on Broadway, and can play almost any instrument you can think of, and every Style of Music you like.

But all of that becomes just one more fascinating footnote, when you watch him work his magic in the moment, and hear the raves of all who are lucky enough to be in attendance - the Audience, the Managers, the Clients, people of every age and background.

I have gone to watch Russ and his excellent Band a number of times over the last decade, including large Outdoor Concerts, and smaller Indoor Venues.
